Top Tip – Style your Soles

Last June Tara from Rosso Solini kindly sent me some samples of her designer soles.  I didn’t get the chance to blog about them last Summer (sorry Tara) so long overdue here it is. Tara set up the company in 2010 as part of a school project and she has gone from strength to strength since. Available in a range of colours and prints from glitter to animal print. I tried them out on some of my shoes and I love them.  They are a little fiddly to fit...

Worth Splurging Cher Black Studded Metal Heel

Happy Tuesday All! Hope you had a lovely weekend.  Mine was very busy, I had no time for a Shoe Showcase but I’ll do my best to get one in for next week. I’m trying my best to be cheerful today but this weather is doing its best to bring down my mood but I won’t let it, so take that crazy Irish weather. Back to shoe business, I’m sure pay day is just round the corner for a few of you lucky ducks. Even if it’s not, it...

Bargain of the Week Pink Metallic Sandals

I’m so excited writing my first bargain post of the year, I can’t believe I’ve waited this long but this beauty may have been worth the long wait. I spotted these sandals in H&M for the perfect bargain price of €29.99. They are finished in a stunning metallic rose gold with crossing straps at the ankle and a simple band at the toe. They have a small platform and the heel itself is pretty manageable. Rose gold is one of those delightful nudes that suits every skin tone. These...

How do I do this again?

I just wanted to come back and say hi *waves to the internet people*. I have been away from blogging from an embarrassingly long time, I’ve no excuse for abandoning my little blog, I just lost my mojo. I hope to get back in to the swing of things and I hope to update Shoezanne.com regularly. I’m not going to pressure myself to post everyday, I want to enjoy it and not treat the blog as my job. When I sat down this afternoon to write again it felt...

Taking a small break

Hey shoe lovers! I’m so sorry that I haven’t been keeping my blog up to date over the past 2 weeks. Life has been hectic! The Irish Open (Golf) is on and I’ve been very busy at work! No, I’m not a professional golfer, I work in Killarney Golf and Fishing Club so I haven’t even had time to shop! I’m working 12 hour days and just can’t find the time at the moment. That said, my mom got me 2 pairs of lovely shoes from the charity shop...

Bargain of the Week Kylie Grey platform heels

Bargain time, yipee! After watching Ireland AM this morning I went straight to Dresses.ie to take a peek at their shoes. One of the models was wearing a pair of silver pumps but unfortunately they were not available on their site. They have absolutely fantastic value on shoes at the moment. I spotted these grey faux suede heels and thought they made a nice change from your standard black and featuring a nice chunky heel and almond toe. Available from Dresses.ie for only €15….bargaintastic! They only have limited sizes...

Worth Splurging Carl Scarpa Ogetti Cairistine sandals

This weeks splurge comes from Arnotts for €110. This mule sandal has a very unusual design, most of the shoe is open but it comes together at the vamp with rolled detailing and opens out again to a peep toe. They are constructed from suede and are trimmed in patent leather piping. I’m not sure how easy they would be to walk in but they certainly made me sit up straight and take a closer look.

Celebrity Shoes Eva Longoria in Brian Atwood Maniac suede purple pumps

Eva Longoria was spotted in Mayfair in London on a night out with boyfriend Eduardo Cruz on Thursday 7th July. The loved up pair went for dinner followed by dancing and looked extremely happy. The pint size actress looked stunning in a bandage dress by Hervé Léger and heels by Brian Atwood. She teamed it with a gorgeous simple nude clutch to finish the outfit. Featuring 5″ heel with 1″ concealed platform, you have to be careful walking around in these babies. I would prefer if these heels had...

Bargain of the Week Lipsy Leopard Diamante Bow Pumps

I’m pretty sure I’ve confessed my not so secret love of animal print on here before. I think the most perfect way to capture it is in your shoes, it just gives a little hint and isn’t too over the top. I spotted these leopard print pumps on Lipsy.co.uk for £30 and I’ve been swooning over them since. They are accented with a beautiful gold diamante encrusted bow on the vamp. They have very few sizes left so if you like them, grab them quick x

Top Tip: Foot Pillows

I love flats almost as much as heels but I find that if I’m tottering around for a few hours my heels get very sensitive and I end up almost hobbling around on my toes due to the pain and discomfort. Enter these great little devices have been created specifically for flat shoes. They slip inside the shoe and sit on the insole to provide extra comfort. Featuring two padded areas, one at the ball of the foot and one at the heel so you’re feet won’t get tired...
