Shoe Showcase Polka Dot Court

These were a purchase from Derry’s Shoes, a local shoe boutique. The brand is Escape, I think it’s an Irish brand. I picked them up to match a dress for my Shoemammy’s 50th Birthday nearly 3 years ago. I love them to bits. They are a lovely shiny white patent court printed with large pink polka dots. They’re super cute and I adore the little pink ribbon bow at the back. They have a pretty low heel by my standards. As the heel is pretty low and also chunky...

Bargain Of The Week Rose Gold Platform Heel

I found these lovely Rose Gold Platform shoes in Dorothy Perkins. They are in the sale at the moment and are only £20 down from £40. They only have a few left so if you fancy them get to their website fast. I love the colour of these, it’s a beautifully striking metallic rose gold. It’s lovely and Summery and this shade goes very well against all skin tones. I also love the chunky cork effect platform and heel. They feature a rose gold buckle and multiple metallic crossover...

Worth Splurging Yana Flower Court

It’s that time of the week again and I have spotted this corker in Schuh. At €100 they are on the low end of the splurge scale but they definitely deserve a feature post. These pretty courts are a mixture of mint green/turquoise.  A perfect colour for Summer.  To top them off they have a cute little metallic flower at the front. These are a beautiful round toe court. Also featuring a lovely silver lining on the inside of the shoe.  I love when shoes have interesting linings, it...

They are embellished with shiny metal studs and feature a variety of materials from woven raffia to snakeskin. They have a tribal inspired design and are very eclectic in style. They have multiple straps which vary materials and textures going across the sandal making them very interesting and have a little Python ankle strap for support. They have a zip fastening at...

Shoe Showcase Cream and Gold Slingback

I really do love these shoes. As soon as the weather warms up sun peeks out after the dark cold Winter I make a dart for them and they’re on. I picked them up in Pennys (Primark) about 2 years ago, I can’t remember the price but it was very reasonable. Featuring a synthetic cream patent upper and distressed gold platform. They have a lovely little peep toe at the front. They have a ½” platform and the heel is 5″ but as it’s chunky they’re pretty comfy If...

Bargain Of The Week Office Pink Leopard Court

It’s that time of the week again and I’ve had my bargain hunting shoes on. I spotted these Pink Leopard Print Heels in Office. Yes I know it’s another Court with a bow on it but I think these have a really unusual style to them and at €22.50 (£20) are a real bargain. They have a lovely ribbon laced through the upper which joins at the front to a cute little bow. At 4″ high and with the chunky heel they are very wearable and shouldn’t hurt your...

Worth Splurging – Carvela Glitz Wedge

I’ve had my beady eye on these funky Carvela Glitz Wedges for a few weeks now. I spotted them in Debenhams and kept them in the back of my mind since. They really are a striking shoe. The wedge part is a lovely reflective copper. The straps across the front of the foot and back of the heel are glitterised and the crossover straps across the rest of the top of the foot are brown and trimmed with a synthetic copper metallic material.   The Carvela Glitz Wedge stands...

Shoe Showcase – Savida Stud & Sequin Peep Toe

I picked these rock chick shoes up in Dunnes about 2 years ago.  I absolutely heart them, they’re really different and I think they look more designer than Dunnes. They’re great for jazzing up a simple pair of skinny jeans and black t-shirt. The only complaint I have to make about my fabariffic studded shoesies is that sometimes they pinch my big toe but not enough to to put me off wearing them again.   If you like the studded look I found a great buy on Desire Clothing...

Bargain Of The Week – Black Patent Courts

While browsing though a few of my favourite online shops I found these babies on Forever21. For under €20 they’re a great buy. They are a shiny patent leatherette (you can’t expect genuine leather at this price), they have a great heel at 4.7″. They’re perfectly simple, a must have for everyone even if you’re not a shoe-aholic!
