So…I have a ridiculous amount of shoes, so many that I’ve had to dedicate a room to them which they also share with my handbag collection and my beloved sewing machine.  It’s the smallest room in the house and is useless for anything else…that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it :)

I’ve been meaning to start a blog for the last few years but always seem to find an excuse not to.  I was on one of my very regular visits to Beaut.ie yesterday when I came accross a post of things to do before I die and it inspired me to get started.  So a little about me.  I’m Suzanne from Co. Kerry, Ireland. I live with my Shoeman and two cats – Sox and Scruffy in Tralee. I’ve adopted the name Shoezanne from family and friends beacause I may have a slight obsession with shoezzz. I love to travel but am a homebird at heart. I love shoes (as if you hadn’t already guessed) jewellery, clothes and baking to name a few.

This blog will feature my shoes…duh. I will also show clothes and accessories with my shoes as there is no point showing them on their own because you don’t leave the house only wearing shoes, that could be slightly mortifying.  I believe you don’t have to spend a fortune on shoes to get a great pair that will serve you well and last for years if you treat them right.

I think I’ve rambled on long enough, I will put up a post tomorrow with one of my 70+ (I’m not quite sure how many) pairs of shoes…

    Hi Suzanne, as a fellow shoe fan I just wanted to say I love your blog. Just wanted to let you know that ridiculous is spelled with an i and not an e…. just so your blog is perfect hehe!!
