Shoe Showcase Cream and Gold Slingback
I really do love these shoes. As soon as the weather warms up sun peeks out after the dark cold Winter I make a dart for them and they’re on. I picked them up in Pennys (Primark) about 2 years ago, I can’t remember the price but it was very reasonable.
Featuring a synthetic cream patent upper and distressed gold platform.
They have a lovely little peep toe at the front. They have a ½” platform and the heel is 5″ but as it’s chunky they’re pretty comfy
If I was to say something negative about them it would have to be that the sling back has a habit of falling off the back of my ankle.
I last wore these on Easter Sunday to my Aunts house for an Easter Egg hunt. I’ll admit now that I didn’t do much running around as my shoesies are pretty high and I didn’t want to hurt myself also I was lazy after eating my own body weight worth of chocolate.
I had a little disaster at the end of the evening when I kicked my shoes off under the table. One of the dogs decided to put a few teeth marks in one, I was not best pleased but it was my own fault. The damage isn’t too bad but I notice it.
You can see the little teeth marks in this pic
I think you can tell that I love these babies from all the little scuff marks but I’m not willing to throw them away yet, I reckon I can definitely get another Summer out of them.
These go great with Summer dresses as well as skinny jeans and a casual top. They’re very easy to dress up for a night out and you can pick up the gold in your accessories.
If these platform sling backs take your fancy, I found a very similar pair of Jimmy Choo’s on jimmychoosale-outlet.com for €127.29 (down from €614.43).
Apologies for the poor quality pics, camera was left at home so these were taken with the iPad.
